  2. Thank you!! About the first painting: I stumbled over it quite by accident, and was soo enthralled. I wanted to put up simply that painting, with the overture, and hope the reader would enjoy the painting for the duration of the piece... but I thought that unlikely on a blog, so I added the rest. Personally I could have a wall-size print of that painting in every room and feel more at home inside the house. :)
